Our History
What began as a fun idea—to race camels for a laugh—quickly grew into something more meaningful. The Camel Jockey's were born when a group of friends transformed their race into a cause-driven effort. Inspired by community spirit, they began raising funds and awareness for local organizations. The International Order of Camel Jockeys exists to preserve a unique Nevada tradition while supporting local charities and promoting involvement. It’s more than racing camels—it’s about unity, generosity, and impact.
